My Background
As well as having a first degree from Nottingham University, I have an M.A. in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from Middlesex University. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. In addition, I am a certified Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which is a coaching qualification.
I am a member of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists and I am regulated in accordance with its requirements.
For several years I have worked for organisations in West London which provide Psychotherapy and Counselling to clients, the majority of whom were referred through the NHS.
I have a legal and business background having worked in the City for 16 years before training as a psychotherapist and counsellor. I therefore have an understanding of the pressures and demands of working in a commercial environment, as well as how this can impact on personal issues, relationships and family life.
